Hello, satin lovers!

This week's article is, by far, one of my favorite ones. This one was a fun way of discovering and doing research because, being completely honest, I wasn't planning on posting this. So, let's get into it.

From Vitamin A to Zinc

I'd like to introduce you to the alphabet of heroes that play a crucial role in maintaining healthy skin. Taking vitamins has many advantages for your overall health but a few of them have special powers to target skin challenges that can be solved along with topical care. Without further ado, let's start the introductions of our heroes and their biggest superpowers.
Vitamin A - Skin renewal
This antioxidant is a common ingredient in acne reducing product as it treats inflammation. As many of you know, regular cleansing and peeling are the basics of a proper skincare routine. Vitamin A will help you with that: it promotes shedding of dead skin cells and prevents further build-up.

Vitamin C - Anti-aging
Firm skin and youthful glow are a byproduct of increased collagen production and that is exactly what Vitamin C does.

Vitamin D - Skin cell repair
A balanced intake of Vitamin D will boost your metabolism in effect minimizing pores and improving skin elasticity. Be cautious if your preferred way of Vitamin D absorption is external: too much sun exposure leads to early signs of aging.

Vitamin E - Protection from free radicals
Preventing UV damage is a year-round ritual for healthy skin. An interesting fact about Vitamin E is that it can be used instead of sunscreen.
